LFF EXPANDED

The BFI London Film Festival launched in 2020 as part of the BFI London Film Festival.

Now in its third year, we take cinema and linear moving image storytelling forms as jumping off points, but explores the ways in which immersive arts change audience perceptions of these stories, and how adjacent forms like fine art, performance, design and fashion are being expressed and converging in digital immersive works.

 

Within the programme we showcase approximately 20 new works from international creators, with a spotlight on UK talent. We are interested in work which is formally bold and inventive; which shows us the world in new ways and work which probes and challenges our perceptions of urgent political, social and/or cultural themes.
